Just like stress, which seems to go hand-in-hand with irritability. However, if besides feeling irritated you also feel sadness, you might be dealing with depression.

Hence, focus on your physical health by doing exercise or eating more nutrient-dense food. Make sure you put your energy towards overcoming your burnout. Start working with a therapist, counselor, or coach. Most importantly, treat your insomnia and get plenty of rest.

Moreover, you might want to undertake a number of self-care practices which will calm you down and provide happiness in your life. Overtime, you will again be that energetic person full of life and joy.
